DYNO TUNES
Tuning is the process of optimizing a vehicle's fueling, ignition, and other subsystems for peak performance. Each engine is different from the moment it leaves the factory, and will see gains from a calibration written specifically for it.
Re-writing your calibration presents associated risks to your vehicle's ECU. To mitigate these risks, we only use reputable software like HP Tuners, SCT, and Hondata for tuning vehicles equipped with factory ECUs. We also tune stand-alone ECUs such as those produced by Holley, AEM, and Megasquirt.
During your vehicle's tune appointment, we start with a Pre-Tune Check, which is included in your tuning costs. This hour-long inspection is our chance to look over common trouble areas that will affect the quality of your tune and/or dyno experience.
From there, we'll dial in your ECU's airflow calculations, so that it can accurately deliver our fueling targets. With airflow and fueling calibrated, we can start optimizing your ECU to ensure your motor produces the power it should. Whenever able, we use our in-house chassis dyno to measure power increases and to ensure your engine's timing curve is correct. After calibrating your ECU, we adjust shift settings and fine tune drivability. By the time we are done with your vehicle, it'll have all new driving characteristics.
If your vehicle's calibration isn't far off to begin with, you will primarily see gains from drivability tuning and transmission settings. If you aren't sure if you need a tune, please take us up on a free consultation! We don't want to sell you something that you won't notice or benefit from.

All appointments must be scheduled online below.
Please see our COVID Procedures prior to scheduling online.
Tuning costs are based on the time it takes to complete a calibration to our quality standards. To offer a predictable flat rate price for our tunes, they have been broken into tiers. Additional licensing costs may apply.
The highest tier your vehicle applies to will dictate the cost of your tune.
Tier 1: Stock and bolt-on vehicles
Tier 2: Vehicles with aftermarket heads or cams
Tier 3: Vehicles with aftermarket power adders (Turbo / Supercharger / Nitrous)
